This is a very interesting presentation. It fits in with some graduate work I did on geovisualization in geospatial data in 2008-2009. The example at the end is mind blowing.... I think that the power of the moving image is even more profound and makes it difficult to know the truth.
One scary aspect of this presentation is that the police used a consistent, unethical technique to solicit the false testimony used to convict innocent people. This is of significant concern to the society as a whole and very damaging to the moral authority of the police. And, yet it persists.
